Lucid dreaming

What is lucid dreaming and how to do it

Have you ever heard of lucid dreaming? Do you want to face your fears without being in danger? Is there something you can’t do in the physical world but have always wanted to do?

Lucid dreaming is the ability to manipulate your own dreams whilst still maintaining consciousness in a dream state. This is most commonly done in R.E.M sleep, this is rapid eye movement which is where you dream. Apart from it being really cool, why would you try and lucid dream? Well because of it’s limitless possibilities it’s been said that many artists, inventors and mathematicians have used this to solve their problems , it’s even been said that Albert Einstein used this method to create all his ideas on the theory of relativity. All of this because there is no limitations in a lucid dreams apart from what we make ourselves. What would you do!? What would you become!? Any fears you have challenge them! Anything that you want to become the best at, practice! Now I’m sure that would of interested you so let’s get into it!

There’s a few different ways to lucid dream but we will be teaching you about the M.I.L.D which stands for mnemonic induced lucid dream. So before you do this it’s helpful to use some other methods first like starting a dream journal all you have to do is jot down your dreams straight away after you wake up, also start doing reality checks when your awake so your in the habit of doing it for when you’re lucid dreaming, this is where you would count how many fingers you have or look at a clock so if you start seeing 8 fingers or real arms on a clock you know your dreaming.

So step 1 is to do affirmations or mantras you will say something along the lines of “I will lucid dream tonight”

Step 2 is to visualise what you want to happen in your dream so as I explained earlier you have no limitations in a lucid dream so you can try something new. Do this right before falling to sleep.

After these two steps do your reality checks to make sure your in a dream and then your ready to go. And as I said earlier make sure you write them down in your dream journal this will help you recall them and help you lucid next time

Warning: we strongly advise you to speak to a specialist before participating in this activity we also advise you to gain more knowledge on the different techniques to help you on your journey!
